I've been playing around with renewable energy and lately got really interested in the idea of building a small wind turbine. I came across an old car alternator lying around and thought it could work as the generator for the turbine. Now, I'm no expert on wind power, so I'd love to hear if anyone has tried this or has any tips on whether it's a good idea
My aim is to produce enough power to boost my off-grid solar system, particularly during those cloudy days. I'd really appreciate any insights on blade size, RPM requirements, or if I should look into different types of motors
