Turning an old windmill tower into a turbine mount

So I came across an old windmill tower that used to power a pitcher pump probably been standing out in a field longer than I've been alive but I thought that why not give it a second life with a small wind turbine. But truthfully it feels like a long shot to me too
Anyone here repurposed one of these for power instead of water? I'm thinking something in the 400 to 600W range to feed batteries at an off grid cabin. I'm guessing I'll need to reinforce the top section, maybe swap out some hardware, and make sure it can handle turbine torque instead of pump loads.
I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions

Have you checked the structural integrity of the tower legs and cross bracing yet, or are you planning to do that after figuring out how to mount the turbine and run wiring down safely?
