my cousin just picked up a couple of old windmill fans of Texas, and he's super excited. he's a total newbie, but always wants a windmill, and those windmills were on sale with a good price
The previous owner didn't have a ton of info, just that his dad (who recently passed) had it restored a few years back.
What my cousin knows for sure is it's an 10ft mill. It looks like it's in good shape overall and seems to be in working order. He's guessing it's from the early 1970s.
He's going to be lurking around the internet a lot, trying to soak up all the info he can about installing, maintenance, repairs, and finding parts.
Since he's completely new to windmills, he has a lot to catch up on.
I'll tell him to join this forum too. If you guys have any bits of advice or tips about this windmill fans of Texas for him, please just throw them here! We'll be very grateful
